Nataliya Kaminska

Nataliya was born in Ukraine in a family of medical professionals. Her father is a dentist and her mother is an obstetrician. She graduated from the National Polytechnic Academy in Lviv and the Kyiv National University of Architecture and Construction, Department of Fine Arts, specializing in artistic ceramics. In 2008, she founded the company KAST, which was engaged in the production of handmade decorative ceramic products, the motto of the company was – Ceramics made with love. The company’s products were known throughout Ukraine and beyond. KAST participated in many national and international exhibitions. In 2018, she married Layne Chase of Oto, Iowa and moved to America with her daughter.

Why a Cooperative?

There is not a better why to support the people that make things with marketing. We know first hand the effort it takes to make things well, to handle the daily problems that come up be if work related or family. To establish a market, specifically a local market is difficult. We’re in times that require us to work together to fight for local economic independence from a global business monopolies of every stripe.
